Samidori Ceremonial Matcha
Product description
Slow Social Club’s Samidori Ceremonial Matcha is a single-variety ceremonial matcha sourced from Wazuka, Kyoto; one of Japan’s most respected tea-growing regions, renowned for the production of high-quality Japanese matcha. The Samidori variety is made from the first harvest of shade-grown tencha leaves and is particularly prized for its gentle umami balance, refined sweetness and clean finish with minimal astringency.
This matcha from Kyoto is stone-ground into a vibrant green powder and has a creamy texture with gentle vegetal notes and a naturally rounded flavour profile that comes into its own in the traditional usucha preparation. Its gentle and approachable character makes it an excellent ceremonial matcha for daily use, for quieter, more mindful rituals.
