Instructions

How to Make an Iced Ube Matcha Latte

Step 1: Prepare the Ube Milk

Add the ube extract to your milk and blend using an electric milk frother until fully combined. This helps create a smooth, creamy milk with a light, cloud-like texture before pouring it over the ice.

Step 2: Fill Your Glass with Ice

Fill a tall serving glass with ice cubes to keep your iced ube matcha latte perfectly chilled.

Step 3: Pour the Ube Milk

Pour the creamy ube milk over the ice, leaving room at the top for the freshly whisked matcha.

Step 4: Sift the Matcha

Sift the ceremonial matcha into a bowl to remove any lumps and ensure a silky-smooth consistency.

Step 5: Whisk the Matcha

Pour the warm water (75–80°C) over the matcha and whisk using a bamboo whisk until smooth and free of clumps.

Step 6: Pour the Matcha

Slowly pour the whisked matcha into the glass of ube milk to create the signature vibrant green and purple layers.

Step 7: Stir and Enjoy!

Stir well before drinking to combine the earthy matcha with the sweet, creamy ube. Then enjoy your homemade Iced Ube Matcha Latte.
